GEC Student Scholarship
The Georgia Environmental Conference Seeks applicants for a scholarship for all students (undergraduate, grad, and PhD) who are studying within the Environmental field and located within EPA Region IV.

The scholarship is available for all students (undergraduate, grad, and PhD) who are studying within the Environmental field and located within EPA Region IV. The application process involves submitting an online application (located here) which includes a brief abstract and professor recommendation. Once the application process closes, a select number of students will be selected as finalist. Finalists are invited to attend the Georgia Environmental Conference on Jekyll Island, GA, from August 23-25, 2023 to present their research and have the opportunity to win a $1,000 scholarship. Finalists receive complimentary conference admission and lodging which will also allow them to take advantage of an unprecedented networking opportunity with environmental professionals from the Southeast and beyond.
The application deadline is May 31.
